‘Refuge’ explores displacement, brotherhood and the struggle to reconcile life and deal with trauma far from home. Set against the backdrop of rural UK, we follow two brothers Assem and Nadim, as they navigate their precarious existence in a makeshift campsite as they try to come to grips with a new country and a society that does not fully welcome them.
